MATHS!
At maths time today we learnt some more about place value. We have been doing it wih Miss Robets, but today we did it by our selfs in groups of four. When we got to ten sticks in the one's column, we had to wrap the ten sticks with pipe cleaners and put them in the ten's column. Then one person from each group had to write down the equation on a different piece of paper.

2 Yet more lightning
A few days ago I saw a flash of lightning.When I saw it I was on the bus. It was fork lightning.
It was fast

2 Flashes of Lightning!
Last night, I heard crashing and smashing thunder and lightning not to mention forked lightning.I felt scared it was terrifying.

FLASHES OF LIGHTNING!
Last night my mum saw a light out of the window. She told us and we started to think what it might have been. I thought it was some one signalling but no it wasn't it was lightng! We went outside to see it better then after a few minutes we heard thunder then I knew there was going to be a storm in the night.

We saw 10 storms outside it was at Mt Manaia.
We went to Mt Manaia and we saw more storm.

Last cold night my mum,and I were outside on the deck and a flash of lightning struck.I said "WOW how amazing". But there was something going on by Waipu. There were three flames that were going up side by side. Like there were three fires.I said to myself "Why wasn't there any thunder?"

8 Our Trip to Kelly Tarlton's in Auckland 7.5.10
Going on an Aventure.
On a frozen cold Friday the whole school(Ruakaka school) travelled on flash buses to the one... the only... Kelly Tarlton's. Anyway by the time I got back I was half asleep in my seat.It was AMAZING!trip. The end

On the way back we saw some rally cars and had people sleeping from front to back. Some people were taking pictures of the rally cars and other interesting things.It was fabulous.

Going to Kelly Tarltons
On Friday morning I had to get up early so a bus could take the school to Kelly Tarltons. Anyway when our class got there we were allowed to get into our groups my favourite part was when I got to have a ride on the snowcat and see the penguins.

On Friday last week Ruakaka School took a journey to Kelly Tarltons.
The best part was the Snow Cat because two penguins looked like they were getting married.

On Friday the school travelled by bus to Kelly Karltons we saw a lady feeding the stingrays that was fun.when we came back we had a pit stop for anyone that needed to go toilet. After that we headed back to school and our parents or cargivers came and picked us up.I thought we had a lovely journey.

One early Friday the whole school arrived at school. After we all had a metting we hopped on buses and off we went.

This was the day I`d been waiting for. Kelly Tarltons school trip!!. My
favourite part about day was the stingray Phoebe she had 70 babies and
she is 1.50 wide she is a short tail stingray. After a long day, it had to end so we packed up and drove to school.

What an amazing adventure! Ruakaka School took a trip to Kelly Tarltons. When we got there our class and room 6 walked to the classroom we then walked into the main area. The singrays HUGE! We saw them getting fed. Then we ran to the Snow Cat to see the penguins and when we were finished, we liked it so much we ran back to have another ride! The man who was the
boss of the Snow Cat said we had to give him chocolate to get another ride! Finally we hopped back in the bus and took the long journey home
so fun!

On a very exciting Friday, the whole school were going to visit Kelly Tarltons. As we got on the bus Jeremiah, Daneil and I started to doze off for a bit but Jack kept poking Jeremiah in the arm so we woke up. After that, Daneil had a head ache from the gap in the bus seat so he sat in the back seat.

go down on their tummys in to the water.It was really cool.I liked it.
